My name is Erika, Your Local Hair Witch!

I am a mom, a hair + makeup artist, formulator of products, and a big time lover of learning and growing! 

I have worked in the beauty industry for 10+ years in which time I have dipped my feet in almost every avenue of beauty, from tv & film, editorial, to being behind the chair, hair and makeup has been a huge part of my life for most of my life.

Nature has also been a big part of my life, when I was younger I would go outside and gather sticks, leaves, whatever I could to make “potions”, I would mix different lotions and beauty products together for fun. Sounds weird, but here it is coming full circle in a way I am carving out for myself.

My journey really began when I became a mom. Becoming even more aware of ingredients, sustainability, and organic living, I decided to start making my own body products for myself and my family. A few years had passed and I had found an herbalism course and immediately fell in love with the concept! I had questioned how could this information be transferred into hair? I searched for courses, gathered a ton of information, did trial and error on myself. And now I am ready to share my knowledge of hair herbalism with the world. 

I am here to bring the hair + herb world together in a practical way that you can use in your daily life. I am passionate about scalp + hair health and think it is a huge missing piece in the work of hair artistry. Scalp + Hair Health is where we need to start.
